Description
MATTRESS POCKET SPRINGS DOUBLE 150Χ200 CM SINGLE-SIDED, EURO-TOP, LATEX (ROLL PACKING)
The mattress- a means of well-being and relaxation.
A person with healthy sleep changes the sleeping position up to sixty times a night (to avoid pain in the muscles and joints). The ability to change sleeping positions without any restriction is an essential requirement for a refreshing sleep.
Even distribution of pressure prevents body pain, where there may be greater pressure (shoulders, hips, heels), and guarantees good blood circulation. The excellent temperature (neither too hot nor too cold) and moisture regulation (absorption of sweat) is perfectly adapted to the person.
What you must have in mind though, is that hardness grade of a mattress should be adjusted to suit one’s individual preferences. So, bear in mind that various “scales” of hardness going around, do not necessarily reflect your own reality!
This mattress is anatomic and integrates the technology of independent springs which is one of the most popular types of mattresses. The heart of the mattress consists of many independent innersprings enclosed in a cylindrical cloth, the pocket. Each innerspring is firmly glued to the adjacent springs. This technique enables the springs to move independently of others nearby. This complex technique makes pocket mattresses adaptable to the shape of the body.
This mattress is delivered in roll packing, which means that you unfold it on your bed and leave it there for about 48 hours until it reaches its proper form absorbing air.
The Euro-top refers to the top of the mattress or the mattress itself as a “euro-top mattress”. But what does this extra surface mean in practice and what does it offer to the body?
The Euro-top section, complements and enhances the unique sleeping sensation that the mattress gives with its luxurious foam materials and ergonomic design. At the same time, it extends the lifespan of the mattress because it protects it from moisture and wear while increasing its durability and maintaining its shape. Its main difference with pillow tops is that euro-tops are seamed firmly and beautifully around the main body of the mattress creating a slight slope towards the edges, and do not have the “squared” look or the look of an independent piece on top of the mattress. So, basically, pillowtop and eurotops are the same, with the main difference being their assembly method on top of the main mattress.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The surface of the mattress is made of knitted fabric.
Then, there is a layer of 2000# fibre material which is based on foam.
After that, there is a layer of 3.5cm of wave foam. This is made of high density foam material in a wavy design so as to maintain the distances between the other materials, while providing proper ventilation.
Below, there is a non-woven fabric which is a polypropylene fabric, non-woven, special for many uses. It is ideal for retaining mattress materials in the quilt and is recyclable.
Then there is a 2cm layer of the key feature of this mattress which is LATEX. Mattresses with LATEX are famous for being anatomical and they are pleasant to the body. It is an artificial material made of natural rubber with amazing capabilities of adapting to the body. LATEX has an open-cell structure, containing millions of microscopic air bubbles, connected together, which not only results in the material being particularly durable, but also ensures optimal ventilation and anatomy. LATEX mattresses are silent and they have great elasticity. They immediately return to the original shape/state. It has hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Then, there is another thick layer of 3 cm foam.
Below, there is a non-woven fabric again.
Below, there is a layer of cotton padding. This is a natural cotton material. It is ecological and friendly to humans and has the ability to adapt to body temperature and at the same time to allow the ventilation of the mattress. It absorbs body sweat, it is gentle and offers a cool feeling in summer.
The heart of the mattress consists of independent springs 20 cm high, with a thickness of 1.8 mm in the center, while on all four sides there are two rows of springs with a thickness of 2.3 mm for better lateral support.
Then, we come across a cotton pad and a non-woven fabric, as discussed above. (see the picture)
Keep in mind that the mattress is single-sided, so you should not turn it over.
MAINTENANCE:
• Periodically, expose your mattress to the sun for proper ventilation
• Leave windows open daily for 30 minutes to remove moisture, especially during the winter which is the main cause of bad smell
• Do not bend the mattress as there is a risk of deformation and damage
• Not to be used as a “trampoline” by children
• Keep it dry
• Wash the sheets at high temperatures and iron them well, so that the various microorganisms are killed and place them on the mattress dry
• Do not iron on the mattress
• Protect it from liquids and clean it locally only with suitable cleaning products
• The base of the mattress must be free of protrusions, curves, and bumps. It should be on a straight surface.
ADVANTAGES:
The pocket mattresses are adaptable to the shape of the body. They are especially effective when the mattress is used by 2 people and the movements of one person do not affect the other person. Suitable for overweight people. But this mattress also has one of the best materials on the market in terms of its anatomy. The LATEX! Although in Greece their use, only recently became widespread, LATEX sleeping mattresses were used in America as early as 1930, when they began to be produced. This particular type of mattress was invented in 1920 by John Boyd Dunlop, and with the input of scientist E.A. Murphy’s production process was optimized to produce the first LATEX mattress in 1930. Since then, LATEX has become synonymous with sleeping comfort!
