You will see that immediately the dust will be removed, and the pile of fabric will be like new.
In no case should you rub a velvet fabric. Even if you must remove a stain, don’t scrub it. Moisten a soft cloth with water and dab locally on the stain.
An ideal choice for cleaning velvet is also leather (that is, the cloths with which we dry the car).
